MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHTS:
ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS
6:30pm to 9:00pm 6 weeks. New classes starting in 22 February 2010.
Cost: $22per 2 1/2 hour session.
This is the class for those who have never sewn or those who have sewn only a little or perhaps a long time ago.
A sewing course for beginners. This is what we will cover:
- Learn to use your sewing machine-you can bring your own or use one of ours.
- Using an overlocker.
- How to choose fabrics and style.
- How to choose a commercial pattern, take accurate measurements and find out everything you need to know to get started.
- Sewing your own outfit.
There will be plenty of tips and tricks for a quality finish and fit as you continue to make your first simple outfit.
Discount applies for paying in advance for 6 week period.
All students are eligible for a 10% discount on all supplies (excluding patterns) sold by Bargain Box during the sewing course.
Free use of the sewing lounge during sewing course.
