Lounge Rates: $5.50 per half hour (1 hour minimum, $11)

What is a sewing lounge?

A sewing lounge is a drop in studio where sewing machines and overlockers are already there for you to use. Imagine an area where you can use all the sewing equipment you need without the expensive outlay and without the need to set it up at home.

It is a place where beginners can feel comfortable working on simple projects and the more advanced sewers can take advantage of the space and company and ready access to supplies.

The lounge is currently stocked with:

• 2 Bernina sewing machines
• 2 Husqvarna sewing machines 
• 2 Janome machines
• 2 Pfaff machines
• 1 Babylock overlocker
• 1 Bernina overlocker

Also available:

• Great choice of fabrics
• Patterns
• Notions (those things you need to finish your project like zips, buttons etc)
• Lots of laces and trims
• Sewing tools and equipment 
• Friendly assistance 
• Space
• Times outside normal shop hours are available by prior arrangement (minimum number participants required)
